I understand being skeptical! Anyone who comes to this clinic with skepticism is very welcome! That was how my own craniosacral journey began. I believe the quote (complete with an eye roll) was something like, “oh brother! They going to try levitation next?“ when I saw a continuing education flyer at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township where I worked. Obviously that opinion changed; while craniosacral therapy is very gentle, it is exceptionally effective! I left that hospital, worked for the an integrative physical therapy clinic and became Upledger-trained as a CranioSacral therapist. When Covid hit, the employment chapter closed and the self-employment one opened! 

The years in homecare, hospital, and outpatient care settings created a rich foundation of clinical knowledge and varied experiences in therapy.  Because I value the holistic medical philosophy to healing, I use alternative techniques to provide manual and complementary therapies to promote wellness and ongoing self-care for the protection of your body and prevention of injury. 

The private pay model allows you to direct the approach to your wellness goals and preferences. Our sessions – and the frequency of them– are guided by you rather than an insurance reimbursement model. I believe the private pay model removes constraints and gives you the most freedom to receive the skills and to collaborate with me.
